A-B Tech’s Small Business Center and Incubator, along with the NC Department of Commerce, will host its inaugural Export Expo from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 in the second flood conference room in the Haynes Center on the Enka campus. Experts will share their knowledge on a variety of topics ranging from how to enter the Asian marketplace to understanding international commercial terms and shipping issues. There will also be a panel discussion by local exporters. Discussions will include: Risk Management and International Financing, Shipping and New Packaging Regulations, International Commercial Shipping Terms, Considerations for Doing Business in Asia, Success Stories from Local Exporters, and the Current Business Climate in Japan and Canada. Participants will also have the opportunity for networking, booth visitation, and a tour of A-B Tech's Business Incubator. The registration fee is $15, and the deadline is Oct. 16. Space is limited.
