Tai Chi Tuesdays

Join our Tai Chi for Arthritis certified educators in some gentle exercise with multiple benefits. Tai Chi has been shown to reduce the risk of falling in older adults, improve muscle strength & flexibility and help calm & focus the brain. All ages and stages welcome � the nature of Tai Chi is to move slowly.

Fit Fridays

Chair exercise classes include strength, balance, flexibility and endurance training based on exercise components from the National Institute on Aging and the �Matter of Balance� fall prevention program. Come every Friday and make a commitment to keep fit!

Founded in 1968 by the Buncombe County Medical Society Auxiliary � also known as our Founding Mothers � The Health Adventure was one of the first health education centers of its kind in the country. We still offer our award-winning educational experiences to school groups, families, educators, senior groups and more!We encourage you to come in and see for your self!
