Enjoy Fireworks, Fun at Ingles' 4th of July Celebration Tuesday

Asheville Parks and Recreation invites you to celebrate Independence Day with a bang in downtown Asheville on Tuesday July 4th for Inglesí 4th of July Celebration. A good time for the whole family starts at 4 p.m. at Pack Square and College Street downtown. The Sons of the American Revolution will open with a patriotic segment at 4 p.m., followed by hours of a variety of great music. End the exciting day with the captivating fireworks display, which will take place at 10 p.m. Donít miss out on these free, fun holiday happenings thanks to Ingles.

Featured bands include The Influence at 4:30 p.m., The Carters with Mike Orlando at 6:30 p.m., and The Gary Redd Band at 8:30 p.m. A jam packed day of great music leading up to the dazzling fireworks display is sure to guarantee a 4th of July to remember.

Games and crafts will be offered throughout the day, plus plenty to eat and drink thanks to Pepsi, Budweiser, and a number of venders serving a variety of delicious food. Free family activities including carnival games, fast pitch softball, a 9-hole miniature golf course, and a rock climbing wall. There will also be contests including pie eating, watermelon seed spiting, three-legged races, sack races, and wheelbarrow races.
