The Asheville Jewish Community Center is now offering summer memberships for its 25-meter outdoor pool. This pool is easily accessible to all North Asheville and downtown locations.
The JCC�s 12-year-old facility offers locker rooms, a diving board, separate wading pool for children under 6, outdoor grilling facilities and picnic shelter. The JCC pool is open 7 days per week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with weekday designated lap swim times, a continuous designated lap lane, and adult-only swim every hour on the hour. Members enjoy an annual July 4th Bar-B-Q bash, and the pool is available for birthday parties and special events. Membership is open to the general community, contact 253-0701 or [email protected] for information. The JCC is located at 236 Charlotte Street, in North Asheville. Parking behind building, enter through side doors on Hillside Street.
Asheville is the smallest community in the United States with its own Jewish Community Center. The JCC was established in 1938.
