Take a Kenilworth Garden Tour on Saturday and Sunday

John Cram, owner of New Morning Gallery, Bellagio Art-to-Wear, Blue Spiral 1, and the Fine Arts Theatre, has announced that his private 9-acre garden on Lake Kenilworth will be open once again. The dates are Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th. The famous gardens have mile long, moss-covered trails and over 20 different garden sites. Enjoy the hundreds of trees, shrubs and flowers in their late spring bloom. Significant sculptures by Hoss Haley have been added to the gardens recently.

Tickets are available at New Morning Gallery in Biltmore Village. The tickets are $20.00 and can also be purchased at the gardens the weekend of the event. The grounds are open 10 to 6, optional guided garden tours are at 11, 1, 3 and 5 by knowledgeable gardeners familiar with Kenilworth Gardens. Directions and additional information can be found on the web at www.newmorninggallerync.com.

This years benefiting charity is Land for Tomorrow, a partnership of conservationists, business leaders, and local governments which is urging North Carolina to preserve a million acres of land in the state.

John Cram has been involved with numerous conservation groups and is thrilled to be involved in this very special project. Visit the gardens, enjoy the day and learn about Land for Tomorrow. (Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Rain or shine.)
