 The 2nd Saturday Artist Market announces new hours for the remainder of its season, running from 12-4pm on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The Market takes place on Domino Lane and in Christopher�s Garden in East West Asheville, just off Haywood Road and behind Harvest Records.
The monthly market features artists and craftspeople from all mediums, including ceramics, jewelry, clothing, metal work, soy candles and wood. The main market takes place under tents on Domino Lane, next to Crazy Green Studios. Additional artists set up in Christopher�s Garden and at the adjoining Flash Studios on Waynesville Avenue. Coffee and treats from nearby Izzy�s Coffee Den will be available at Domino Lane. In addition to exhibiting artists, the 2nd Saturday Artist Market is happy to host a Community Booth, offering local organizations an opportunity to present their services, call for volunteers or highlight an upcoming event or drive. Past Community Booth guests have included CarePartners Health Services, MANNA FoodBank and Mountin� Hopes. The Community Booth for July will host Koinonia: Teaching to co-create music, awareness, and sacred arts. Information and musical performances will take place under the Koinonia tent. Additional community activities occur under the tent at Crazy Green Studios, where patrons can drop off canned food and non-perishables for the MANNA FoodBank Neighborhood Food Drive, and purchase bowls to benefit MANNA FoodBank. 2nd Saturday Artist Market is sponsored by Crazy Green Studios, CareFirst Health Partners and IO Designs.
