The weather is warming up, and kids are getting restless as the school year winds down. It is a familiar pattern, and Buncombe County Parks & Recreation Services is ready for another summer of swimming lessons and fun in the sun at their outdoor pools. The county�s outdoor pools are open for the summer �04 Season. The pools will be open weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) until Buncombe County schools close for the year. The pool hours will be Monday-Friday from noon - 5:45 PM, Saturdays from 11 am - 6:45 PM, and Sundays from 1 - 6:45 PM. The pools include:
Admission is $3 per person. Passes are available for 10 visits for $20 or guests may purchase a season pass for $125 per person. There will also be two sessions of swim lessons offered at all outdoor pools. The first session will take place from June 14 - 24 with registration taking place from June 7 - 11. The second session will take place from July 12 - 22 with registration taking place from July 5 - 9. The cost is $25 per person.
