The Wolf peaks at an elevation of 4,700 feet and sits in the shadow of Big Bald Mountain. They offer 54 acres of ski-able terrain, with snowmaking capability, 15 lighted runs, with 1 double lift, 1 quad lift, and 2 surface lifts

The lodge overlooking the slopes offers multiple fireplaces, cafeteria, gift shop, rental shop, and group sales department. Whether you are a beginner or expert, long-time regular, or first-time visitor, you are certain to find exactly what you are looking for at one of North Carolina’s premier snow sports facilities.

Wolf Ridge Ski Resort relies on mother nature to do most of the work, but they are able to give her a helping hand as long as the temperature is where they need it to be. The facility offers boots, poles, and shaped skis ranging in length from 80 cm. to 178 cm for skiers. For the snowboarder, they have boots and boards ranging in length from 94 cm. to 154 cm. They also rent helmets, snow bibs, and lockers. They do not rent jackets, gloves, hats, or goggles, so be sure to pack those with you!
