City Approves Additional Funding for U.S. Cellular Center Renovation

Recent improvements to Asheville’s largest convention and entertainment venue, the U.S. Cellular Center, have included the addition of flexible theater seating in the arena, a new sound and lighting setup, and conversion of a storage room into a press and meeting room.

U.S. Cellular Launches Community Connections Program

Local youth organizations can earn up to $1,000 through U.S. Cellular’s Community Connections program. Now in its fifth year, Community Connections provides sponsorship support to help youth groups pay for expenses such as travel, equipment, and uniforms.
