2015 Asheville Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 10th

Oktoberfest returns to Asheville on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Woodfin Street (the best address for your phone is 35 Woodfin St.). Tickets are $45.

Oktoberfest is a 21 and over festival, and we encourage you to leave the kids at home. If you must bring children, those eight and up must have a designated driver ticket. Children under seven will be admitted free. Designated driver tickets are available for $10.

“Our new location on Woodfin Street offers much more space as well as some much-needed shade,” said Rick Fornoff, event committee chair for the Asheville Downtown Association. “We’re excited to switch things up and improve the festival experience for our attendees.”

Stage entertainment is provided by local polka group, Lagerhosen. This Bavarian-influenced 5-piece group, along with special guests, will perform polkas, waltzes and drinking songs to entertain attendees. Plus, they’ll roam through the crowd creating fun and mischief with their silly antics and sing-along beer jingles. We’ll have fun games and activities for attendees as well.

Entertainment:

– 9-hole mini-golf course – challenge your friends to a round or two (please play safely and consider other attendees).
– Asheville Plays/WNC Haunted Trail will bring their giant games including Jenga, corn hole and Connect Four.
– Yelp and Rose Hecht Creative will offer a fun photobooth for attendees.
– Other sponsors and vendors will have activities as well.
