ISIS is Topic of Next World Affairs Council Lecture on December 1st

The next World Affairs Council lecture will be given by scholar Ali Demirdas at 7:30 pm on December 1st at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.

Demirdas is an adjunct member of the international studies faculty at the College of Charleston who received his Ph.D. in political science at the University of South Carolina. He earned a master’s degree in international relations at Suleyman Demirel University in his native Turkey.

This lecture sponsored by the WNC chapter of the World Affairs Council, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNC Asheville, and the university’s Department of Political Science.
