2016 Collier Lilly Ride for NC Outward Bound School

The 2016 Collier Lilly Ride for NC Outward Bound School, scheduled for May 29th, is an open-road ride beginning in Carrier Park along the French Broad.

Riders then leave Asheville for mountain roads traversing Leicester, Woodfin, and Alexander, before bringing it back home along Riverside Drive for the finish. The following of North Carolina traffic laws, paying attention to vehicular traffic, and the wearing of bicycle helmets is required of participants at all times.

The route is marked with signs only, but many of the turns will have local fire or police personnel to keep riders on course as well. The course is fully supported with an aide station midpoint on the route with access to food, beverages, and a port-o-john.
