As part of TD Bank’s “TD Tree Days” tree planting initiative, employee volunteers from TD Bank will join partner organization Asheville GreenWorks to plant trees at the Southside Community.
“TD Tree Days” is an example of TD’s commitment to the environment and is a component of TD Forests, an initiative to expand urban forestry to enhance community and economic development.
TD Bank employees will be joined by Asheville GreenWorks volunteers to plant trees at the Southside Community adding much needed green infrastructure by enhancing recreation spaces, mitigating the effects of storm water, providing shade and establishing a more welcoming environment for the community.
The community event will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm in the Southside Community at 144 Livingston Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
