Immigration Rights Attorney to Speak at UNC Asheville on Oct. 27th

Martin Rosenbluth, a North Carolina-based immigration rights attorney, will give a talk titled Refugees in Crisis: From Texas to Turkey at 4:00 pm on Oct. 27th at UNC Asheville’s Karpen Hall, in the Laurel Forum.

This is a free event, open to everyone.

Rosenbluth has begun working pro-bono as a legal advisor and training coordinator for the U.S.-based nonprofit Advocates Abroad and recently took trips to Texas and Europe to provide legal assistance for immigrants. He spent a month on the Texas-Mexico border working with refugees from Latin America, and six weeks in Lesbos, Greece working with refugees from Syria and elsewhere.
