St Nicholas

Just in time for Halloween. A jaded theatre critic spins a tale beginning with obsession and ending with a descent into a macabre world of vampires.

Is he lying or telling a higher version of the truth? Waylon Wood sinks his teeth into this hauntingly funny one man play.

Tony Kiss of Mountain Xpress writes that “St. Nicholas is a one-man show, masterfully played by veteran Asheville actor Waylon Wood, with direction by Betsy Puckett. It is essentially a 90-minute story that combines elements of drama, comedy, fantasy and horror.” Continue reading Tony’s review of the show at mountainx.com.

St. Nicholas will be performed through October 22nd with performances on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $15 and are available online at www.ashevilletheatre.org, over the phone at 828-254-1320, or in person at the Asheville Community Theatre Box Office.
