    Blue Ridge Bicycle Club
    The bike club was formed in 1974 after a community meeting on bikeway planning was held at the YWCA on South French Broad Avenue. Current club membership is around 250. Monthly meetings convene the third Wednesday of each month at various restaurants in the Asheville area.
