What is a Haywood Road Clean Up Day?
A day where volunteers work to pick up trash and recycling along the Haywood Road corridor with the support of the West Asheville Business Association. Pre-cleanup breakfast and post-cleanup reward coupons will be provided.
How do you participate?
1-RSVP using this registration form.
2-Meet and sign in at Westville Pub.
3-Grab some breakfast, get your gear and instructions, and we’ll all head out together to pick up of trash and recycling along the corridor and side streets
4-Return gear to Westville and enjoy volunteer rewards!
Is this a family-friendly event?
Yes, although please consider that Haywood Road is a busy street and it is important that you and your children stay alert and safe throughout the clean up.
Should you bring anything?
Asheville GreenWorks will supply gloves, safety vests, trash grabbers, and trash bags for everyone. Please bring any personal items that you need and water.

Local residents show their West Asheville pride by coming out in force to clean up Haywood Road — the heart, or more aptly, the stomach of the neighborhood. Join teams from local Asheville businesses and dedicated area residents for a cleanup co-hosted by our partners the West Asheville Business Association and Wrong Way Campground.
