Join nature photographer Bill Pattison at North Asheville Library for a guided nature walk for beginning photographers. At 11am, participants will gather in the library’s community room in order to set out for a gentle hike through the next door bird sanctuary with their cameras. Pattison, whose images have been published in Our State Magazine and exhibited in various local venues, will provide tips and advice for photographers along the way as the group searches for some of the many interesting and beautiful photography subjects Western North Carolina has to offer.
This event is the sequel to a beginners’ photography class, which Pattison will be leading at the library on June 8th at 5:30. It is recommended but not necessary that participants attend the class if they wish to also attend the walk. No registration required. As always, these events are free and open to the public.
