March 13: LGBTQ Equality @ Firestorm Books, 7-9pm
April 10: Racial Equity @ Habitat Tavern 7-9pm
May 15: Interfaith Connections @ R+W Creative Campus 7-9pm
June 12: Immigration Reform @ Venue TBA 7-9pm
Each session will contain:
An open conversation with a community leader actively involved in each session’s topic.
An assemblage-based art project involving different mediums and processes will be offered following the guest speaker’s talk. At this time the floor will be open for anyone and everyone to discuss their thoughts, inspirations, hopes, goals pertaining to the topic that month. Both the art activity and the discussion will be open-ended, and there are no right/wrong comments or ways of making.
Every session (guest speaker + art activity) will be free for ages 18+. Donations appreciated for guest speaker’s time
