My corn shuck doll class is coming to Asheville! If you can tie a knot, then you can make a corn shuck doll. Join us for a fun afternoon workshop of creating your own art doll out of natural and dyed corn shucks. You will learn all the steps necessary from rolling corn shucks into the head to embellishing the doll with wool, feathers, preserved juniper, and other natural and found materials. I will show you ways to make a Winter Solstice doll, to celebrate the upcoming season, but you also have the choice of making a doll that reflects your essence!
