The behavioral pros and cons of declawing will be covered as well as some alternatives to declawing for people who are having trouble managing their cat’s destructive scratching.
Free Help Sessions are presented by Tristan Rehner- Fleurant, MS, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, CBATI of Pet Behavior Aid.
The mission of Pet Behavior Aid, a non-profit organization, is to increase the retention of companion animals in their homes in Asheville and Western NC through education and training programs for people who have dogs or cats, animal shelter and rescue workers, and the general community.
A little about our Free Help Sessions:
Our goal is to teach you what you need to know to help your pet. As much as we wish we could include your pet in this class, it is for humans only, so please leave all those sweet and wonderful pets at home.
These Help Sessions are free to the public on a first come, first seated basis. Please be aware that Animal Hospital of North Asheville will be seeing patients while the Help Session is in progress so some of our parking will be reserved for the families of patients needing care. Thank you for understanding.
In case of inclement weather, the class will be canceled. If you have any doubt whether the class will be held, check our Facebook page or call Animal Hospital of North Asheville at 828-253-3393.
