Jim Blanton, Director, Buncombe County Public Libraries will be the Luncheon speaker. Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Jim Blanton has over twenty years of public library experience. He has two Master’s degrees: Library Science and Public Administration. Most recently he was the director of the Louisville, KY Public Library. He has a reputation for innovative programming and was named in 2012 as a “Mover and Shaker” by Library Journal.

Part II – LWV Business Meeting 12:45-1:30
Review and vote on new leadership, a budget and priorities for 2019-20.
