It’s Pilates, with your POLE as a prop!
Join us for this mixed level Pilates mat class, taught by instructor Alexis Miller. The pole is a surprisingly versatile tool that will assist us in finding our alignment, posture, and core strength! This is a perfect cross-training for your pole dance or regular dance classes for building stability and strength in your upper body, abs, butt, and hips! No fancy pole trick skills required..we’ll be staying connected to the floor and finding fun ways to enhance our Pilates mat practice with the Pole as our prop and guide!

Alexis is a certified Classical Pilates instructor and dancer. After completely her Pilates certification in Seattle and San Francisco in 2010, she moved to Asheville and opened her studio Cisco Pilates in 2011.
