Join us this week on Wednesday November 16th from 6-8pm at Warren Wilson College to enjoy a delicious bowl of soup! You will get a beautiful hand made bowl to take home AND the proceeds from this event will benefit our FEAST program! We will be doing a cooking demonstration and showing people a little bit of what FEAST students get to learn. There will also be a raffle and t-shirts for purchase at the event.
If you can’t attend the event, please consider supporting our FEAST program. We are not funded by the school system and we rely on community support so FEAST students have all the tools they need to garden and cook for long-term food security. Students learn about simple machines, working collaboratively, seasonal produce and ways to reduce food waste by using “ugly” apples to make juice, then composting the waste.
