Allegiant Adds Bi-weekly Nonstop Flight to Sarasota, FL From Asheville

Allegiant has announced service from Asheville to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) beginning Feb. 22, 2019.

“We’re thrilled to grow again in Asheville and offer area residents the chance to enjoy beautiful Sarasota,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “Asheville is home to one of our bases of operations, so it always extra special to add new service in a place that so many of our team members call home.”

The new year-round flights will operate twice weekly. With the addition of this new route, Allegiant will now serve eight cities from Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

We are thrilled to welcome nonstop service to Sarasota, and believe this additional connection between the gulf shores of Florida and our mountains will be very successful,” said Lew Bleiweis, executive director of Asheville Regional Airport. “I encourage our region’s travelers to book a flight to SRQ, and we look forward to giving our newest Florida friends a warm welcome when they land in Asheville.”
