The Asheville Police Department is encouraging firearm safety within the Asheville community by making 200 gun locks available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The locks will be available at the front desk of the Asheville Police Department (100 Court Plaza).
No personal information is required to obtain a gun lock. Simply come to the front desk of the Asheville Police Department Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
