The 12th Annual Ingles Tools for Schools Supply Drive takes place on Wednesday, August 5th! Volunteers will be accepting donations outside the Ingles at 29 Tunnel Road from 4:30 am to 7:00 pm.
Volunteers will be taking donated items from cars, and sanitizing them before they are sorted and put into boxes graciously donated by Two Men and a Truck. Donors will be asked to stay in their vehicles to ensure social distancing is maintained.
This event is a great opportunity to bring the community together, from a safe distance, to give support to students, teachers, school administration, staff, and parents in helping make sure that students who cannot afford the proper school supplies will have what they need to begin a successful school year.
More than fourteen hundred children received school supplies last year thanks to the generous community of people, area businesses, and supporters.
