The Asheville Downtown Association will host a Candidate Forum for candidates running for mayor and city council on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
The forum will be held in The Century Room at Pack’s Tavern on Spruce Street.
The format will be roundtable discussions. We’ve gotten good feedback from both attendees and candidates about this format because it allows for more one-on-one conversations. We will focus the discussion on topics relevant to downtown.
It’s important to the Asheville Downtown Association that the event is able to accommodate as many ADA members as possible. Since space is limited, they will first offer tickets to members in good standing. Members can RSVP for two people per membership. Once members have had an opportunity to respond, they’ll open up any additional space.
