Asheville City Schools Graduation Rate Above State Average

Asheville City Schools recently announced that its district graduation rate for the 2021-2022 school year was 93.5%.

Asheville High School’s graduation rate was 92.1% and the School of Inquiry and Life Sciences at Asheville’s rate was 98.7%, both above the state average of 86%.

“This is wonderful news for Asheville City Schools and certainly a reflection of the tremendous work all of our students, staff and families have done,” said Asheville City Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Jim Causby.

Located in Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville City Schools is one of fifteen city districts in the state, with ten educational campuses and about 4,500 students.
