Hammerhead Stoneworks of Asheville Celebrates 15th Birthday on Friday, April 26th

Marc Archambault and Hammerhead Stoneworks are hosting an open house to celebrate fifteen years in business. Join them on Friday, April 26, at Hammerhead’s studio and shop space to commemorate this impressive milestone and to see what’s next.

Known for their large scale stone installations like The Greenman mosaic, The Labyrinth at First Baptist, and The Stream Path at the NC Arboretum, the event will feature Marc’s first gallery show, Sweet Creatures. This collection of natural stone mosaics comprises smaller pieces, suitable for hanging in the home. Says Archambault, “I will always enjoy the engineering and logistical challenges of our huge pieces, but I’m excited to be moving into doing smaller, more personal works.”

The Open House will also include stone rugs and benches, as well as Garden Guardians- standing stones with mosaic inlays.
