realities of the world both internal and external.
She absorbs the shocks of the dark side of human
experience with poignancy and courage. To quote
Robert Motherwell, “the function of the artist is to
express reality as felt.”
Betty grew up in New Orleans, and has been
exhibiting throughout the South since the 1980s.
