Our culture doesn’t teach you how to be in touch with the deeper parts of yourself. This workshop will show you how to do just that. It will allow you to tap into the inner wisdom we all have. You’ll feel more grounded and alive. Connecting to the deepest parts of yourself will, paradoxically, allow you to connect to others at a deeper level.
Quotes about previous workshops:
“I’d tried for years, but had never been able to meet my higher self, until this workshop.” D.B.
The hug my higher self gave me was like every hug I’d ever had rolled into one.” R. L.
This will be $25.00, you’ll go through Atlanta Shaman to register and pay, not the venue. That applies to paying early or to pay at the door.

Kate Bowler, bestselling author of Everything Happens for a Reason (And Other Lies I’ve Loved), will be speaking at First Presbyterian in the Sanctuary. A young mother living with stage IV cancer and a historian of American religion, Kate speaks with candor and humor about some of the fundamental questions of faith: What does it mean to trust God? How do we live in the chaotic, terrifying seasons of our lives? How do we talk about those things that seem too difficult to voice?
Dr. Bowler will speak from 7-8 p.m. and allow time for questions. Signed copies of her book will be available for purchase. Reserve your place $10 and give your name at the door.

Wilson, Grant, and Bennett Billingsley are three brothers who have spent the better part of the last twenty years pretending to get along. They also sometimes make music.
Billingsley’s signature sound has been likened to what it would sound like if you took a cd of The Eagles, Coldplay, Sublime, and Zeppelin and threw them all in a blender at full-blast. There’s a lot of broken machinery, some screaming, and a little blood.
Wilson Billingsley: Guitars, Vocals
Grant Billingsley: Bass, Vocals
Bennett Billingsley: Drums, Keys, Vocals

Hustle Souls takes the stage at Sanctuary Brewing Company Saturday, November 3rd, 2018! DONT MISS THIS!
About:
Once upon a time in the budding music-mecca of Asheville, NC, a man with a trumpet, an acoustic guitar and a mission metamorphosed into the synergistic soul/indie-pop band, Hustle Souls. With 2 ½ years of touring under their belt, the band’s feel-good, modern meets vintage sound, have earned them a reputation as one of the region’s most promising independent acts.
Lead singer and keyboardist, Billy Litz’s rootsy influences and vulnerable compositions are embroidered, garnished, and decked out by a powerhouse soul band. The rhythm section, Tommy Moore and Sean McCann aggressively usher in a tight jazz and R&B influence, while guitarist, Chris Everett, brings the group to the next level with his rock-ribbed feel.
In 2017 the band was approached by gold and platinum mixer and producer Eric “Mixerman” Sarafin (Ben Harper, the Broadcast, Pharcyde) about making a record which has set the ball rolling at a different pace. Hustle Souls’ eclectic sound will soon come together on their debut full-length album, “Color.”

He makes it seem like his guitar and banjo are not just instruments, but that they are extensions of his soul. The passion Jody has for his craft of singing and songwriting fills our intimate music venue, as his deep and wildly raspy voice, brings his tales to life right in front of us! You will feel the connection to his characters, and you’ll not want to miss a word he sings.
