2018 marks three massive milestones for Urban Orchard Cider Co. They say significant events take place in groups of three, so it seems as if the planets have aligned this year.
-5 Years in operation and killing it
-Grand Opening of Urban Orchard Cider Co. South Slope!
-Halloween celebration, full of free entertainment
Each year, we try to outdo the year before with how we show our appreciation to all of our cider-lovers that have helped us grow our local/family business. This year, we will debut our outdoor stage with FREE LIVE MUSIC, unveil the completed U.O.C.C. South Slope Headquarters and finish the night off with DJ Malinalli’s Dance Party till the wee hours.
Fire Flights! 6 Craft Chili Ciders from the spicy cider originators. Starts at a barely noticeable spice from local jalapeños in Hop-a-leño Cider to a real blazer from locally grown Scorpion peppers (Carolina Reaper) in Scorpion King Cider, and everything in between.
Be sure to plan now to attend and tell your squad of ghouls where you’ll be (SHARE).
Stay tuned for updates and the day-of schedule.

As we look back over 8 successful seasons and plan for another, our consistent quality and growth dictate that we must locate our current programming to a more permanent location. In the spring of 2018, Different Strokes! will make a home in a newly renovated theater in the South Slope district of Downtown Asheville. This 120 seat performing arts venue will more comfortably accommodate our growing audience, become a home for other diverse and varied performing arts groups, and allow us to expand our provocative and transformative programming.
Your financial contribution, including the purchase of your ticket(s), is a vital part of helping us to expand DS!PAC’s vision of excellence, develop new programs and projects, turn new ideas into reality, and executing innovative ways of serving our community and region. Time is of the essence, as we begin equipping the building with a stage, lights, sound, seats and essentials to make this space, with incredible potential, into an incredibly inviting performance venue!
