Restorative Yoga is the use of props to support the body in positions of ease and comfort to facilitate relaxation and health.
In this class, we will settle into supported floor poses while releasing tension, gently breathing, and allowing gravity to draw us towards the steadiness of the earth underneath.
Restorative yoga poses manipulate our nervous system in such a way that reduces the influence of our activating systems (sympathetic) and increases the efforts of our quieting systems (parasympathetic) so that we may take rest. All of the organ systems in the body are benefited during deep relaxation.?♀️?

Hello all! We’d like to give thanks for our beautiful George and his best friend Paul, who we lost earlier this year. If you’d like to swing by on Friday we’ll be hosting a visit of the rescue where you can meet all of our people, with our special guest George the turkey.
