With over 30 years of dance convention and competition experience, EDS has integrated the positive aspects of both, and eliminated the unfavorable. We strive to present a fun, friendly atmosphere with fair results! Using a system that acknowledges studio size, you are guaranteed to compete on a “level playing field”. You will be categorized in a division with studios of comparable size, much like the divisions in college sports. Finally, the stress of competing against studios much larger or smaller than yours is removed! In addition to our 3 levels of competition, we will have 2 divisions of overall awards!!! With cash prizes, scholarships, fun games, and more, we’re sure your “Epic” experience will be one you will want to relive each year!

North Carolina in the spring season, conjures up images of green rolling hills with mountain springs filled with the runoff of the snows of the passing winter. Images of cabins in the woods, fresh air and memories of more innocent times when things were simple. In springtime, the world awakens, the birds return, flowers bloom and the grasses begin to cover the land. Visiting Asheville and the Smoky Mountains allows us to leave the pressures of the world behind, so go into nature, awaken to your true essence, your truth, your innocence.
Asheville is known for its powerful vortex energy, it is believed these energies intersect under the city. This spiritual energy is often compared to Sedona. The energy is powerful in these wise mountains, rounded by the winds of time, soft and rolling, proud of what they have sustained and still standing tall. These mountains are a metaphor for life, we endure much but still we stand tall, we continue, we persevere. This spring, in the mountains of North Carolina, come claim your strength, tap into the power of the mountains, pull in the energy of Mother Earth to revitalize you on your journey.
We will plant the seeds on this adventure of awakening. Opening to us, to our gifts, to our talents, to our essence, that purity that we all came to life with that sometimes gets lost in the throws of life. Plant the seeds and awaken to your true gifts.
In the woods we will connect deep within, through meditation, breathwork, yoga and sisterhood circles, we will find our connection to nature. We will breathe in the fresh mountain air as we walk the paths layered with pine needles. Each step taking us into a deeper state of contemplation, connection and acceptance of life.
What to Expect
*Burn away our past Karma in a special fire ceremony, where we will use the ashes to design a unique creation with the intention of rising from the ashes, a new understanding of self
*Early morning Yoga and meditation
*Evening Sound Healing, be bathed in the sounds of Gongs, drums, chimes and singing bowls
*Contemplation time in nature to write, breath, meditate or “just be”
*Creating potions using natural earth elements
*Chanting for awakening to our truth
*Goddess Activation Codes to activate you to a higher sense of your truth
*Sisterhood Circles, Ceremony & Rituals where you come together to share and grow in love and community
*Intuitive Channeling Circle to gain insight from your spirit guides
When women come together
There is a strength that rises within
That strengthens the whole
It is like twine
We tie a knot of community
Come to the mountains to tie knots of hope
Knots of remembering
Knots of ideology
To open to the best parts of ourselves
In the mountains with the collective
We climb to meet our best selves
We climb to empower
We climb to find us
The parts that have been lost
In the everyday living
Leave feeling whole
Empowered
And with a new sense of purpose in your life
Bless yourself in ways never imagined by joining us on a journey of self-healing and sacred sisterhood.

ABOUT EMMA G:
Finding her voice as she rediscovers her American heritage from her home base in Washington DC, New Zealand-born singer/songwriter Emma G is a combination of Adele, Pink, Amy Winehouse and Alanis Morrissette. Her edgy tones and gutsy lyrics hammer home her messages of love, vulnerability, empowerment and strength with a soul-pop/rock sound that is engaging, inspiring and appealing to a hugely diverse audience.
Unapologetically outspoken, flying her freak flag, and always smiling, Washingtonian Magazine dubbed Emma G as one of the “Best of DC”. One Love Massive describes her as “charismatic”, and ANR Factory describes her voice as “poignant and beautiful” with “astounding bravery to speak up” on issues that matter to her.
And where did this bravery come from? A long history of health issues, brain surgeries, battles with depression and suicide, drug addiction, and sexual assault, yet still finding the inner strength to come out the other side positively: singing her truth. “Things that happen to us don’t make us who we are, but we all need to overcome struggles. The trick is to overcome them together.” Says Emma G. “My hope is that my music will not only resonate with individual people, but also ignite those flames of love, resilience and community”.

We are living in a time of great awakening and transformation both individually and collectively. We are in a process of Awakening together with Mother Earth. The human HEART exists on many levels on energy and consciousness and holds the keys to our transformation at both a personal and planetary level. The Heart is the seat of our vital force, our spiritual essence, our deepest soul desire, and aliveness.
Ancient spiritual traditions along with artists, poets, musicians, all lovers, and modern science have all been fascinated by the human heart and how to tap into it and understand its profound energy and effect on our being. The next level of our evolution is tied to the awakening and integration of H E A R T Consciousness.
Join us for this intimate weekend of yoga practice, music, chanting, community and reflection as we explore together teachings (both ancient and modern), practices and tools to help us all tap into the power and magic of our hearts.
Yoga classes will include a short dharma talk, practice of heart/soul-centered yoga, meditation, chanting, and beautiful live music with Jim & special guests.
