We have been working hard to establish Emergency Safety Guidelines in order to safely operate during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s important for all to remember that we are able to be open because we are an open-air grocery store, not a social gathering.

In order to best serve all of our vendors during this time, we have established a pre-sale and pick-up option so you’re still able to purchase items from vendors you love while having as little contact as possible at the market. No token sales at this time. Unfortunately, this means no EBT sales. Please understand that this is in the best interest of safety to our staff.

No vendors are allowed to sample at this time.

Face masks are not required, however, all staff & vendors of the RAD Farmers Market are required to wear face masks during operating hours.

All vendors have hand sanitizer at their booths, & sanitize their hands between customers & transactions.

Please allow the vendor to select your produce for you.

Pre-orders are appreciated, as always, however, all vendors also bring goods for sale at market.

We love your dogs, but also appreciate if you can leave them home for your safety. It’s hard not to pet the pups, but it’s hard to social distance and do that!

If you do bring cash, please bring smaller bills so that you will have an easier time with the exact change policy most vendors have at this time.

Celebrating over 15 years of bringing fresh, local produce and handcrafted goods to the community of Flat Rock NC.
Join us every Thursday, May – October at our location at Pinecrest Presbyterian Church at the corner of Upward Rd and Greenville Hwy.
On Thursday, October 22nd, bring the kids and come test your knowledge of Disney, superheroes, fairy tales, wizardry, candy, and more! Package includes unlimited hot dogs, unlimited nachos, bottled water, and one build your own s’mores kit for each guest! First place team receives 100 Tourist Bucks! Second place team receives 50 Tourist Bucks!
Beer, Cider, Seltzer, and Coca-Cola products available for purchase.
Umbrella Tables seat up to 4, Rectangle Tables seat up to 6, Dugout Suites seat up to 10. No outside chairs allowed. **Reservations are required**
Guests must remain seated at tables for the duration of the event unless getting up to use the restroom. Please no running or roaming around the ballpark.
Gates open at 5:00 PM, trivia starts at 6:00 PM.

Several markets in Buncombe County will offer holiday markets or extended seasons in November and December. In addition to seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, and bread, these markets feature local artists and handmade goods, such as wreaths, pottery, jewelry, and more.

The market is located in A-B Tech parking lot A-13, adjacent to the A-B Tech/Mission Health Conference Center (16 Fernihurst Dr.). Enter the market via Fernihurst Dr. off Victoria Rd., following campus signs to the conference center.
Market staff will control the number of shoppers in the market area at one time by limiting the number of cars in the parking lot. When you arrive at the market, please follow signs and staff directions to queue inside your vehicle until instructed to park your car in the parking lot. There may be a 15 – 30 minute wait to park during peak shopping times.
Dates and Hours
Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon until December 19th…
The ASAP Winter Market will run Saturdays, 10am – 1pm, January 9th until March 27th in the same location.
Market Rules
- No customers or vendors exhibiting symptoms may enter the market.
- Maintain 6 feet of social distance at all times.
- One customer at a time for each vendor table.
- Only handle product you are purchasing. Vendors will pre-package or bunch products.
- All vendors and shoppers are required to wear masks. Customers who are not able to wear a mask may arrange to pre-order from vendors. Market staff will direct you to a separate parking area and deliver prepaid items to the car.
- Children, if they must attend with adult shoppers, must be closely supervised.
- Please leave your pets at home.
Staff will direct anyone failing to comply with these conditions to leave the market.
Paying for Purchases
Vendors accept touch-free credit or debit payments as well as SNAP. Some take exact cash (no change given) or check. Thanks to generous support from the community, we are offering Double SNAP.
Test your musical knowledge in an online Music Trivia Night to benefit the Blue Ridge Orchestra! Get to know John Ross, the BRO’s Interim Music Director, as you answer questions ranging from easy to obscure. Prizes include gift cards to local businesses, a socially-distanced yard concert by 2 BRO musicians, and even getting to guest conduct the orchestra! Tickets only $10; all proceeds benefit the Blue Ridge Orchestra, Asheville’s homegrown, all-volunteer symphony.
