The proposed multi-family development is still working its way through the Woodfin planning process. Plans currently filed with the Town include 1500+ apartments as the first phase. The WNC Sierra Club is primarily supporting neighbors in the area and seeking assurances about impacts on the neighborhood, Asheville’s Richmond Hill Park and the French Broad River.How to Take Action
- Attend the Woodfin Town Commission meeting on Monday, March 1, at 6:30 pm and be prepared to speak during public comment, if allowed. Zoom link to attend. Meeting ID is 919 5428 1934.
- Contact the Woodfin Town Commission to ask them to require a bridge for approval of the project. Commission members and Planning staff may be contacted as follows:
