Stiff slab hand building is a process that is both accessible and fun. Join Molly as she shows you a few simple tricks and hacks that will ensure your success. You will learn how to plan internal supports, judge drying time for slabs and rehydrate them if necessary. Other topics will include getting your piece to dry evenly, keeping large sculptures (relatively) lightweight, and maintaining proper clay consistency for different applications. We will build large sculptures – at least 24” cubed.

Tuition: $195 + $55 Lab Fee (Includes 50 lbs of clay)
