All branches of the Madison County Library are scheduled to reopen June 8. New procedures, including acrylic shields and social distancing markers, will be in place at every circulation desk. Library staff will be wearing masks when not behind the shields and will undergo temperature checks twice-a-day, according to Kim Bellofatto, director of the Madison County Library. While patrons will be encouraged to follow guidelines from the Center for Disease Control regarding the wearing of face masks when in public, they will not be forced to do so.
