
Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Billy Montana joins the Genevieve’s November line-up to share his songs showcasing his signature talent for tapping into powerful emotion through lyrics.
A critically-acclaimed writer for some of country music’s biggest stars, Montana’s credits include Garth Brooks’ record-breaking single “More Than a Memory,” Sara Evans’ smash “Suds in the Bucket” and the Grammy-nominated “Bring On the Rain” recorded by Jo Dee Messina with Tim McGraw. His most recent chart topper, “Hard to Love,” is the title cut from Lee Brice’s 2012 album.
With more than 100 published credits, the prolific lyricist has worked with Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Lee Ann Womack, Kellie Pickler, Kenny Rogers and many others. His compositions can also be heard on ABC’s hit TV show “Nashville.”
