This Valentine’s Day, skip the Hallmark store and give your loved ones a beautiful handmade greeting card! In this delightful—and delicious workshop—you’ll learn basic cardmaking techniques while enjoying scrumptious handmade truffles and a glass of red or white wine.
While you indulge your tastebuds, mixed media artist Kate Corcoran will teach you basic cardmaking techniques using paper, fabric, ribbon, stickers, stamps, stencils, and other embellishments. The focus will be on simple card design, composition, and construction, but there will be opportunities to make more complex, interactive cards as well.
You’ll create at least two finished cards and leave knowing how to create more cards on your own.
