Hello fellow travelers! Please join Lane as he recounts his time cruising on the Peruvian Amazon and it’s tributaries. Lane spent a magical week on a boat voyage which included the Amazon River as well as the two main rivers that meet to form this mighty waterway: the Ucayali and the Marañón. The trip included day and night walks and skiff rides into the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, a region the size of Belgium, hoping to spot wildlife. They were richly rewarded. A special treat was being exposed to daily life on the river, visiting several villages. The trip ended in Lima where Lane was surprised to find a huge festival happening. In total it was an experience he will never forget!
We will have coffee available, but feel free to bring your choice of beverage or refreshment.
