Local artist and owner of Upland Nature Lab, Phillip focuses on celebrating natural specimens by dramatizing objects through isolation, light, and backdrop. These dramatic botanic compilations honor the everyday wonder of mother nature. All specimens are found in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, and photographed at his home studio in Highlands.
