Kate Willett is a comedian, actress and writer who has appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Netflix’s Comedy Lineup. She’s the author of the Audible Original “Dirtbag Anthropology.” She’s the cohost of the political comedy podcast Reply Guys and has written jokes for your favorite boys, Beavis and Butthead.
She’s been a correspondent for the JIM JEFFERIES SHOW at Politicon and a featured comic on Viceland’s FLOPHOUSE. Her appearance on Comedy Central’s THIS IS NOT HAPPENING was on Splitsider’s list of “Best Late Night Standup Sets.” In the past, she toured with Margaret Cho nationally and internationally and has featured with comedians like Kyle Kinane, Maria Bamford, and Greg Behrendt.
She has appeared in the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Big Sky Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and High Plains. Departure Points: Join the Hop-On/Hop-Off Tour at any of the 10 stops. If you’re driving in to join the tour, Stop 1, the Asheville Visitor Center may be your best option. The Visitor Center, located at 36 Montford Ave. just off I-240 at Exit 4C, offers free parking (on a first come-first served basis) and restrooms. The Asheville Visitor Center is the ONLY place to join the Overview Tour.

Geared specifically towards the 5-12 year old crowd, you’ll learn about our city’s history and see the sights in true LaZoom style – complete with our famously outlandish tour guides, hilarious comedy skits, and all sorts of special appearances! Perfect for birthday parties or school field trips, it’s the best thing to do with your kids in Asheville. It’s a show on wheels!
The tour is 60 minutes long and includes no stops. The tour is hosted by a zany tour guide, and along the way other characters will hop on the bus and perform kid-centric sketches (Candy Pirate, Ninja, and a Levitator) The tour is not only fun – it’s educational! Kids and adults will learn new and interesting facts about Asheville along the way. There must be 1 adult for every 4 children. We do not allow any unaccompanied children. Children 3 and under do not need a ticket if they are sitting in an adults lap.

Our standard tour includes visits to three Asheville area vineyards. With safe and reliable transportation provided, you can sit back, relax and just have fun.

Want to include specific vineyards on your Asheville wine tours? If you have “must-see” wineries in mind or want to craft a full day catered to your group’s interests, we’re always happy to create a custom experience. Reach out any time!
Guests will meet at Dssolvr Asheville (63 N. Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801) and then depart with their treasure map on a walking team scavenger hunt where they will use their minds and feet to follow clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest for a grand prize!
The hunt involves walking a distance of up to 2.0 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete.
Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free with the purchase of an Adult ticket.
Prepare yourself for a whirlwind adventure of suspense and comedy with Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps. This fast-paced play is a unique adaptation of the 1935 classic Hitchcock thriller film, infused with a healthy dose of Monty Python-style humor. The story revolves around the central character, Richard Hannay, who inadvertently gets tangled in a mysterious web of spies, murder, and love. Remarkably, the entire riveting narrative unfolds through the talents of just four actors, who collectively portray over 150 characters, masterfully switching roles with lightning speed. Brimming with clever references to Hitchcock’s filmography, wry British humor, and ingeniously crafted theatrical inventiveness, The 39 Steps promises a rollicking evening of entertainment that leaves audiences on the edge of their seats.
A talkback with the cast & crew of The 39 Steps will be held following the performances on June 23rd and 30th.

Alan Massenburg is a comedian, writer and actor originally from Philadelphia, Pa. This year, Alan released his debut comedy album, “We Got Action,” which debuted at #1 on the iTunes chart. He has been a finalist in the American Black Film Festival stand up competition presented by HBO and has appeared in the “Dad Joke” segment on the Drew Barrymore Show. Alan was also a featured performer at the world famous Apollo Theater and on Sirius XM’s “Sway in the Morning Show”. His social media content has garnered over 10 million views and he can be heard cohosting the Proper Ebonics Podcast.

FULLY SEATED SHOW
A morning tour on select Wednesdays and Fridays going to 2 studios – which will always include 1 private glass studio and 1 art studio in a different medium (such as pottery, fiber, books, sculpture, etc). These will be pre-arranged studio visits – not customized with the participant. Time frame: 9:30a to 12 ~ 12:15p.
Inspired by the Chihuly at Biltmore glass exhibit, this new tour will give participants a chance to meet a local glass artist along with another professional artist in a different medium. Glass studios included will feature: cast glass, blown glass or cold formed glass. Glass artists will be one of the following: Alex Bernstein, Carl Powell, Brad Smith, Robert Stephan or Hayden Wilson.
Dates for the first half of the year are: April 5, 10, 19; May 8, 17, 22; June 12, 14, 21, 26; July 5, 10, 19, 24, 26.
AND If you are a glass collector, or have special interest in meeting more of the regions incredible glass artists, private customized tours are available to book.

The Learning Garden is open for informal visits Monday through Friday throughout the year, but if you visit on a Wednesday, during the growing season, you can meet the Master Gardeners working in the gardens and ask questions about the plants and their care. A visit to The Learning Garden, on a workday affords you the opportunity to view each of nine garden areas, to ask questions and learn successful horticultural practices from the Master Gardeners who lovingly tend the gardens. The Learning Garden consists of these individual areas: Gateway Garden, Rose Garden, Cottage Garden, Four Seasons Garden, Dye Garden, Vegetable Garden, Pollinator Garden, Compost Area, and the Sun and Shade Garden. In addition, the complex has about two miles of walking trails. On the last Wednesday of the month from June to September (June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25) you can join a more formal tour and be lead through the gardens by a master gardener docent as you watch the other gardeners caring for the plants. See beautiful and interesting plants, delicious vegetables, native plants for beauty and pollinator interest. The tours start at 10:00 a.m. and should last approximately an hour. The tours will begin outside the front door of the Buncombe County In the event of steady rain in West Asheville, the workday and the tour will be canceled. The tour is free and registration is not necessary. We invite you to visit often, observe the gardens, and ask questions as the Master Gardeners tend the gardens through the growing season. Asheville’s longest running comedy open mic happening every Wednesday night. The show starts at 8:00, and there is no cover. Anyone wanting to perform can sign up starting at 7pm, and will get four minutes on stage.
