The conflict spirals into an all-out war of taste, class, privilege, and entitlement. With witty humor and engaging real-life drama, Native Gardens showcases conflict – and the worst and best ways to work it out! Director Candance Taylor seeks a cast of four for this quick-witted and engaging real-life drama. Characters include Tania, a doctoral candidate, her husband Pablo, a rising attorney, and Frank and Virginia, their neighbors – a well-established D.C. couple with a prize-worthy English garden.

Formerly known as the Road Warriors, the club rebranded to the Swamp Rabbits on August 26, 2015 in an effort to really ingrain itself in the fabric of the community. The Riveter will be serving up plenty of post-race activities (and beverages) again this year, so it’s sure to become one of your favorite holiday traditions. This scenic 5k/10k race winds through rolling hills and country roads right outside the Riveter and Sierra Nevada Brewing.

You are invited to this powerlifting event to watch and cheer on your favorite competitors at
this annual Powerlifting competition, where competitors attempt to lift as much weight as possible using the squat, bench press

Blue Ridge Roller Derby is excited to invite you back to the Smoky Mountain Event Center at 12pm noon on Sunday, Dec 4th to see our home teams battle it out on the track again! This is our second home team game of the season and this time we’re bringing even more festive cheer and all the fun roller derby intensity. Our first home game in October filled the house and we expect another great turnout! Our fans are incredible and there’s room for you to join. This is a family friendly event. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 12-18, and free for kids 11 and under. Doors open at noon and the first whistle is at 1pm. BYOB is allowed (please drink responsibly). Bring cash for raffles and games but cards are accepted. SEE YOU THERE!
