Entry fee for the race is $100.00. Lottery will open at 12:00AM on August 1st and close at 11:59PM on August 14th. Runners must be 19 or older to participate. For the first time and NEW for the 40th Anniversary, we will be operating from a LOTTERY SYSTEM this year. All prospective entrants will be required to use Ultrasignup to enter the lottery. There will be NO in-store entries.
Priority will be given to previous winners, those who have completed the race the last five years consecutively, eight or more times cumulatively, and previous race volunteers. ***It is still imperative that these runners still enter the lottery***
Race numbers may be picked up on the day of the race at the arboretum from 8:30 until 9:45

Kids are put in groups based on age and ability with seven levels available. The session is six weeks long and is $79 for members or $99 for non-members for one class a week or $129/$149 for two classes a week plus a play day at the end of the session. Each player also gets a half hour one-on-one session with one of our certified pros.
The format for this session is having classes once or twice a week for six weeks. Then the session concludes with a fun L6 Play Day where they can get match experience. All classes are taught by certified tennis professionals and will be held on HRC’s outdoor or indoor courts.

The Chamber Classic Golf Tournament is a fun opportunity for members of the business community to network, connect with colleagues, and enjoy a beautiful day out of the office. This Captain’s Choice tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8:00 am and again at 2:00 pm. Sponsors will host fun contests at several holes, with prizes offered for players. Entry fee includes breakfast provided by Bojangles of WNC before the morning flight, and all participants are invited to enjoy a healthy lunch provided by Arby’s. Two beverage stations will be set up on the course, with beer provided by Highland Brewing Company and soft drinks from Pepsi-Cola. Hole 14 on the course features a hole-in-one contest, and some lucky golfer may win a brand new car, compliments of Asheville Ford Lincoln! . The Tour d’Apple is an exciting ride through Western North Carolina’s apple orchards, waterfalls, and mountains to benefit the charitable projects of the Hendersonville Four Seasons Rotary Club. It includes a Century (100 miles), a metric century (100km), as well as 45 and 25mi options.
The ride takes place on Labor Day and features an exciting course (no matter which length you choose) complete with plenty of rest stops. The ride begins at 8:00 am from Blue Ridge Community College.

Bob Moog Foundation announces its fall raffle featuring a coveted, fully restored vintage Memorymoog Plus synthesizer, formerly owned, played, and signed by Dr. Fink of The Revolution. The Memorymoog was part of The Revolution’s touring rig on the Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day, and Parade tours.
Funds raised from the raffle will be used to expand the Foundation’s hallmark educational project, Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool, currently inspiring over 3,000 elementary school students per year through the science of sound. The raffle will also help support the Foundation’s newest project, the Moogseum, an immersive, experiential facility that brings Bob Moog’s legacy and the science of sound and synthesis alive for people of all ages. The newly opened Moogseum is located in downtown Asheville, NC.
