Mashville Challenge Presented By Blue Ridge Roller Derby

Presented by Blue Ridge Roller Derby, Mashville Challenge is a one-day must-see event held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the U.S. Cellular Center. For one full day, roller derby and brewery competitions will be showcased in the same venue.

From 12 until 6:00pm, fans will enjoy 5 limited-release drinks, specially brewed and named for this awesome day by 5 breweries: One World Brewing, Hi-Wire Brewing, Urban Orchard Cider, Hillman Beer and Bhramari Brewing.

Participating fans can purchase a $25 brewery punch card (the punch card covers the five competing breweries’ pours) and will have until 6:15pm to vote for their favorite brew on-site, earning that drink the “Blue Ridge Ribbon” and title of Blue Ridge Roller Derby’s 2019 Beverage of the Year.

The winning drink will be announced at halftime of the Allstars’ game around 6:30!

Do Parents need to buy a ticket?
Yes everyone attending needs to buy a ticket. Children under 1 are free.

Is there a dress code?
We are encouraging all kids to dress in their finest royal attire or favorite princess dress. For adults, wear what you are comfortable in. Keep in mind the princesses will be in very fancy ballgowns and you might just capture your next favorite family photo, so dress for your level of comfort or in royal attire as well.

Where is my ticket?
You should have recieved a confirmation email with a link to dowload your ticket. You have the option of printing a paper ticket, or pulling up on your phone. Either is accepted.

What’s the charity for?
This year’s charity is going towards our ‘Be the Good’ Fund which will help support expenses related to volunteer and charity work as well as ‘Wish Granting’ for local kids with health issues, and families with financial hardships.
Songs Sealed Delivered does not profit off our Charity events.

Do I have to have a kid to come?
No. This is an ALL ages event AND a chance for adults to be kids again too. The show should be enjoyable for adults too!

The Cube of Truth is a peaceful static demonstration akin to an art performance. This demonstration operates in a structured manner that triggers curiosity and interest from the public; we attempt to lead bystanders to a vegan conclusion through a combination of local standard-practice animal exploitation footage and conversations with a value-based sales approach.

Put on your tie-dye tee, bell-bottoms and Birkenstocks and get ready to share the love—and delicious food—with friends and neighbors at this fun, outdoor “festival” along the Swannanoa River.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE WHO PARTY FOR A PURPOSE!

All event proceeds benefit MANNA’s daily work to provide food to thousands of families across Western North Carolina who are struggling to make ends meet. Every dollar raised can provide food for 3.5 meals!
