This concentrated eight week series is great for building strength and a quicker understanding of the mechanics, timing, and grace that is helpful for pole dancing. Learn introductory tricks, spins and choreography each week!
We will focus on the static pole for the first 6 weeks and move to an introduction of the beauty of spin pole for the last two.
Pole dancing is fun, an amazing workout, and sensually expressive. Enjoy learning with the same group of students each week who are all brand new to pole!

We are lucky to have incredible Animal Educators to help us spread the word on the important roles they play in the Park. Join one of our Park Naturalists for an informal program where your family will love meeting some of our wilder teammates! Kids of all ages are sure to take home some fun facts and special memories. Then, grab a Track Trail brochure at the Animal Discovery Den and round out the day with a hike along our Great Woodland Adventure trail with 12 education stations. Don’t forget your camera!

Join the Green Opportunities Kitchen Ready program on Friday, April 5th for a community dinner featuring classic French dishes prepared by the students of Cycle 22. This meal will showcase the culinary skills our students have honed during Tier I, their first eight weeks of training.
We’ll host two seatings for dinner in Southside Kitchen, at 5:30 and 7:00 pm, with guests seated on a first-come, first-served basis. The suggested donation is $10 or pay-what-you-can. All donations support the Kitchen Ready training program.

Isabel is a versatile cellist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, songwriter, and music educator. She has performed, recorded and taught throughout North America, Europe, India, Asia, South and Central America and the Middle East. These experiences are a great source of inspiration, deepening the understanding of music as a universal language and revealing its powerful ability to connect people and communities. After many years of living in New York City Isabel is now living, teaching and performing in Asheville, NC. She received a Bachelor’s in music performance at DePaul University and a Master’s in the Contemporary Performance Program at Manhattan School of Music.

Identity Mitosis is a unique musical short story that takes place in the distant future. A curious A.I. remained on Earth while the planet recovered from the 6th mass extinction event. Upon it’s reactivation, the A.I. finds itself surrounded by lush wilderness in a fully recovered ecosystem. Upon studying this world, the A.I. learns to communicate with the entire planet as one giant plant being. The ensuing conversation this unlikely duo has is the inspiration behind the music and the curious outcome of their encounter.
Push/Pull Bio:
Push/Pull represents the auditory endeavors of Liam Collins. Beneath the music there is the belief that dancing is one of the most positive things you can do with your time as a human. Fair is the story of the notorious murderess, Laura D. Fair, who shot and killed her lover, Alexander P. Crittenden in broad daylight off the coast of San Francisco in 1871. Laura’s trial was filled with scandal when the prosecution positioned themselves against any woman with power and turned the court proceedings into a widely publicized morality play. Fair, is an ensemble developed play, created over two years, that uses actual court testimony from this once famous case as well as letters between the two lovers on the brink of despair. Through both comedy and tragedy, Wishbone aims to take you on a journey through the life and heart of Laura D. Fair.
