Our Blushing Belgian Blonde is bashful in its Belgian characteristics. While the Belgian aromatics of clove and banana are noticeable, a light dry taste is present. This beer is an introduction to Belgians for those who are trying to branch out of their comfort zone. Aged on Boysenberry and Apricot to add a sweet tart component to the dry effervescent finish. Perfect for drinking on a warm spring day!

Join the Western NC Green Party for an evening of talking about the Tourism Development Authority – what is it, and how can we re-imagine the way it works? How could tourism dollars be used to improve the lives of residents of Asheville rather than simply being used to increase the advertising? What infrastructure needs could be met if that money was spent in a different way, or if the board was structured so that the public had some control? Your input is appreciated!

Learn how to screen print at the Moonlight Makers workshop!
There will be a short overview of how Moonlight Makers got started (screen printing in Claire’s kitchen) to how we print now. This will be followed by a short tour of the workshop.
We will then have a verbal overview of how a screen is made (*no screen burning demo), and a process overview of how one color screen printing works.
Your ticket includes 1 tri-blend short sleeve shirt or tank top from our blank shelves. You may also bring any other fabric items from home you wish to print on. Everyone will get a turn screen printing their own shirt and any other materials they bring to print on.
Our workshop is led by Mikey the Firefighter!
Mikey started screen printing in 2000 in the San Fransisco Garment District before he moved to Asheville 16 years ago. He continued screen printing while serving his community as a Firefighter and raising his two boys here in the Mountains. Mikey was one of Moonlight Makers very first employees, teaching us how to screen print.
*Please note:
– You will not be learning how to burn a screen
– You will not be printing your own artwork. You will be printing Moonlight Maker’s own artwork
– We use non-toxic Air Dry water-based inks.
– We will have chilled sparkling water
but you are welcome to BYOB
This is a family friendly event.
