Love Bubble” is the name of the freshest harmony-driven trio in WNC! Made up of 3 of our areas finest and most sought after singers, you’re in for a dreamy, nostalgic, heartwarming and whimsical time! If the fact that they sold out their debut show at the Grey Eagle in December 2019 isn’t enough to convince you, certainly hearing them live, will! Hank Bones (guitar/vocals), Paula Hanke (vocals/flute/uke) and Peggy Ratusz (vocals/harmonica/percussion) bring a holiday twist to their psychedelic jazz/rock/pop 60’s vibe for this Christmas themed concert! It’s the time of the season! Happy Holidays from Love Bubble!”

Not Dead Yet Asheville’s Women in their 50’s Holiday Celebration
Dec 17 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Wild Wings + Lake Julian

We will meet at the Wild Wings parking lot at 6pm and carpool (with masks) to see the lights at Lake Julian. Then we will return to Wild Wings for drinks/dinner. If you want to drive by yourself through the lights, you can do that. You will need to buy a $10 ticket online beforehand.

I started this group to bring together women in their 50’s who want to gather with other like-minded women. We’re dealing with a lot of issues at our age, and having other women who can understand us, support us, and laugh with us is so valuable! This group is open to any woman in her 50’s: married, single, gay, straight, black, white or any other color. We will gather, eat, drink, laugh and commiserate when necessary. I am hopeful many of us will make meaningful friendships along the way.
